Here you will find plenty of enjoyable activities, and have a better understanding of the geographical diversity that surrounds Stanford.
Indeed, from Stanford, you can easily go see the ocean, mountains, lakes and wine country, which is well-known.
However, fewer people know that surrounding Stanford, there are also red rock formations, a geyser, volcanic landscapes, ghost towns, a small, southern European-esque island, bioluminescent ocean water, the largest sequoias in the world, hot springs, floating houses, caves, 13 of the 61 national parks in the United States, and so much more.
